About A Sac
A Sac Preview A Sac (which is Catalan for "Fast as hell") is a program for recording and saving a highscore list in the racing game Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2.

You can download the latest version of the program you will need to registerright here.
It's very simple to use. After you have downloaded and extracted the package to any folder you like, you simply start A Sac and then HP2.
As long as A Sac is running in the background, the statistics of the races will be saved for future reference by A Sac. After each race, A Sac will notify with you with a small beep, to let you know that the data was captured successfully.
A Sac even works with dual-monitor desktops, so you can watch the program collect the stats on one screen, while HP2 is running on the other.

To upload the highscores, just follow the instructions in the program (note that you will need to register a username/password to upload highscores).

For suggestions, support and bug reports about A Sac and these pages, please post a message in the HP2 A Sac forum at the Forums.
Also, please note that both Nye and Dava did this for fun (there's no profit in this for them at all), so their support of this service ended years ago, since they have to work and study.
Well, once in a while they get to race a few as well but have moved on to other games ;-)

The A Sac application is coded by Nye, who also got the idea for this utility, while Dava contributed a minor part by coding and setting up the server-side applications. We also owe a big deal to the NFBS community. Especially webmaster Acadian who provides the serverspace and CPU power for this project for years but has decided to retire. So Oldfart one the beta testers for the original program is taking over and hosting the service.

About A Sac DS
A Sac DS is still under development.
Release date yet to be determined, we're sorry that we can't yet give any date for the release, but we're working as hard as we can between fixing bugs in A Sac and real-life duties.
For more information about how the development goes, please check out the forum, where we once in a while post a little note about the progress of DS.
